When approaching major, minor, and dominant seventh chords, the barre formation can provide the player with a host of possibilities. It offers the player the flexibility to form chords anywhere on the neck and in any key. Open chords are now movable fret by fret, making minor, major, and dominant seventh voicings available across the fingerboard.
